An update...

Just wanted to say that we feel very blessed that there's been nothing to report for over a week! Life is... just as it would be expected to be with a newborn in the house.

Here's a few pictures of the Audrinator. She is starting to be awake more, which is fun. She is starting to sleep a little more predictably, which is great. You can see the cords to her heart and lung monitor on the full length shot. This alerts us whenever she stops breathing or her heart rate drops. It sounds like a smoke alarm. It goes off pretty often--probably 10 times a day. Sometimes it's a false alarm, and sometimes it isn't. But we've gotten used to it by now. We don't know how long she will have it, but my best guess right now is about 4-5 more months.

Here's a picture of Genevieve's snowman from last weekend's snow. She was thrilled to get to build a snowman with her Daddy.

Here's Genny and I getting ready to leave for an event yesterday at Southwest Park. Now, I had promised her we would go and I would not be deterred by the wind gusts of up to 74 miles per hour. {That's right... 74. Not a typo.} To my relief, when we got out of the car and she felt the wind, Gen immediately announced she wanted to go home. So we went and got a Sprite instead. It made her just as happy.
