Happy Thanksgiving to all!
We're going to show off some of our Thanksgiving crafts...
we made a banner with handprint turkeys
and Genny made a turkey at school
so did Audrey. This makes me laugh every time I look at it.
and this is our Thankful Turkey. We wrote things we are thankful for on the feathers to make the turkey.
Each feather has the initial of the person who is thankful for that thing. It was fun, and I am thrilled that this is the first year that Genny has really understood what it means to be thankful on thanksgiving.

I love the way you are teaching the girls the meaning of thankfulness - the crafts are precious, but even sweeter are the talks that I know are going on as they are made. I'm thankful for the Poling girls...all 3 of them!
